 Management Team

The Hometown Computing Management Team brings years of experience in high technology product development, management, Customer Support, and business operations to the task of delivering the highest quality Internet access. The Management Team includes:

Larry Anglin
President, Founder, CEO

A native of Hamilton, TX, Larry received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1985 from the University of Texas. He spent 11 years with National Instruments in Austin in a variety of positions in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Management. During his time at National Instruments, he participated in the rapid growth that propelled the company from 50 employees in 1985 to 1,200 in 1995 and a successful IPO.

Upon retirement from National Instruments in 1995, Larry returned to Hamilton and saw the immediate need for high-quality Internet access in the Central Texas area. A few months later, the first Hometown Computing offices opened in Hamilton and Cleburne. Over time, more offices opened in Clifton, Gatesville, Whitney, and Carlton, as the coverage area spread to include almost all of the Central Texas area from Fort Worth to Temple.

Since inception, the company has enjoyed consistent growth. In addition to the dial-in business, Hometown Computing is a regional leader in web site hosting with 500 domains and 500 user pages residing on the high-speed backbone.

A widely published author, Larry’s writings on computer-based test and measurement systems have been found in publications such as ‘Test and Measurement World’, ‘Personal Engineering’, and ‘Electronic Design Systems’. Some of Larry’s writings have been translated and published in French, German, and Japanese.

Larry can be reached at larry@htcomp.net or through his personal web site at www.anglin.com.
